True in Wonderland
True Fisher-Duddy Celebrates Her Third Birthday
At the end of January, Joely Fisher celebrated her daughter True Fisher-Duddy’s third birthday at an Alice in Wonderland-themed tea party sponsored by Sugar, Sprinkles and Banana Split. True’s guests (including mom’s friends Kevin Nealon and Brad Garrett and their kids) painted tea cups and made hats with The Rad Hatter. In addition to the gorgeous cake by Cake Divas, the kids were treated to a Baskin-Robbins sundae bar and goodie bags that featured Crayola crayons and markers.
Below, True poses with her sisters — Skylar Grace, 7 ½, and Olivia Luna, 4 ½ months — and mom Joely.

New Holiday Collection

Paper Shouts adds new designers.
Here's a quick bio of the 5:
Bonnie Bell.
Inventing Mathilda Owner and designer, Bonnie Bell prides herself on creating stylish and memorable paper products. Bonnie's love for design started years ago as a second grade teacher where she had a passion for creating class bulletin boards. Bonnie found herself ready to translate her love for design into a business. Bonnie cultivates all of her creative ideas and meticulously constructs vivacious birth announcements, photo birth cards, and personalized stationery. She has a definite aversion to drawings of little pastel rattles and rubber ducks and adamantly believes that there are other endless other possible artistic ways to celebrate babies and children. She loves using unusual patterns, shapes, and colors. Bonnie lives in Denver with her nerdy husband and two energetic daughters.
Julie Heinze.
Julie is a freelance designer and faculty member at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. After spending the first several years of her design career at Apple, she moved to Southern California and became involved with book jackets and logo designs, as well as all types of advertising. Her inspirations range from Moroccan patterns (she lived in Morocco) to the surf culture of the beach city where she now resides with her husband and three kids. She loves to travel, and uses the opportunity to explore foreign design and architecture, and often finds herself in bookstore or stationery shops.
Gabriela Martinez
Since 1990, Gabriela, founder of Texto, a service print and online graphic design firm, has been designing for a variety of clients, including the performing arts, museums, and high-technology companies. Gabriela and the Texto designers enjoy their most valued asset: imagination. With a background in music and fine arts, Gabriela draws inspiration from creative sources such contemporary architecture and Turkish textiles. Gabriela works hard to have a balance between work and family. She lives in Los Gatos with her two children Eloisa and Sasha and their two high strung dogs.
Melissa Stanchock
Melissa is the owner and designer of ModernMe, a children's clothing line with a unique concept featuring clean, modern design. After working six years as a freelance designer and following the birth of her son, Melissa began devoting herself fully to building her own company. The company focuses on educating children and toddlers in a playful and original way, introducing early object recognition and word association through their clothing. ModernMe is based on the theory 'form follows function'. The clothing line, and now her card designs, are creative and innovative outlets that allow Melissa to utilize her background in graphic design. She currently resides in Southern California with her husband, son, and Siberian husky, Nikita.
Marci Stewart
Marci is a freelance designer specializing in all types of print layout design for both profit and non-profit organizations. With over 18 years of design experience, Marci's passion is creating fun and unique event graphics, invitations, and announcements. She has a love for all types of design, from vintage styles to simplified modern designs, using fresh colors and hip fonts. She is a mother of three young boys and uses each baptism, birthday, and all family events as opportunities to challenge herself and thrill her guests with original works of art.

Paper Shouts helps raise funds for Schools thru 2009
For the second year in a row, Paper Shouts is going to donate 10% of sales to any school that registers with us and their families purchase their custom cards from http://www.papershouts.com/
This fundraising program is open to all public and private educational institutions.
Paper Shouts’ holiday cards are made on 100 percent Post Consumer Waste (PCW) recycled paper and are the perfect way to wish family and friends happy holidays in a personalized, unique fashion.
If you are interested in enrolling a school to participate in the Paper Shouts school fundraiser, here are the basic steps to follow:
• Simply send an e-mail to fundraisers@papershouts.com with information about your school and the appropriate contact person there.
• Paper Shouts will then provide a specific school promotion code to be given to every family of the participating school. Families simply need to select their holiday card of choice and enter the appropriate promotion code when buying their cards.
• In addition, Paper Shouts will provide a school specific flyer for distribution to all parents that will include the promotion code as well as additional pertinent information and directions.
As parents we are aware of all the fundraising campaigns: Magazines, wrapping paper, box tops, cookie dough etc. Sometimes it feels as if we are fundraiserd out. But, this time of year everyone loves sending and receiving holiday cards because it’s the one time of year we get to see updated photos of friends and family that we don’t always get to see throughout the year.
Paper Shouts’ holiday cards are the perfect way to wish your family and friends a joyous holiday season as well as give back to your local school.
But wait...... This program is not just for holiday cards. PaperShouts will donate 10% through the end of the school year or June 15 2009 (which ever comes first!)

Calling all Photographers.....

Wednesday, August 20, 2008
Welcome
The newest chapter of our story is our move to Recycled Paper. As a company, we are committed to being environmentally as well as socially aware. This move is just the beginning. All our designer shouts are printed on 100% PCW recycled, heavyweight (110#), uncoated paper and are shipped with 50% recycled envelopes (30% PCW/20% VF). We are excited to have sourced a premium grade recycled paper so we do not sacrifice any quality in our final product with this move. This isn't your parent recycled paper all grainy and gritty. In fact, if we didn't have a recycle logo on the back I doubt you could tell the difference! (We do have a Couture series of Wedding Sets that are Metallic but I'm afraid are not 100% recycled paper but do look really cool.)
Our customers can now feel good about sharing their news with family and friends in a very personal way while still being environmentally friendly.
Here are some examples of our cool cards:
